Social responsibility and the university environment

Abstract:
Our current research attempts to show the level of social responsibility for university students and the most important voluntary programs that the university encourages and the educational curricula that direct the student towards building social responsibility inside and outside the walls of the university، where a sample was taken from students of the College of Arts – University of Baghdad to find out the most important social factors And the economic and methodological factors affecting the degree of responsibility between them and the environment around them. The study concluded that the respondents have the desire to participate in the student community volunteer campaigns، and the most prominent recommendations and proposals are the need to activate the media between the university’s activities and conferences that serve societal issues and student participation.
