Abstract:
This research deals with the position of the UAE on the second Gulf War and the determinants of UAE policy during this period. There is no doubt that the Arab Gulf region after the discovery of petroleum was the focus of the big countries, especially England and the United States. All the conflicts witnessed in the region, and the Gulf War II has caused many questions, most importantly the future of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and we will clarify in this research the position of the United Arab Emirates of this war Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was one of the first presidents to condemn aggression. On his territory and sovereignty, and expressed his confidence that Kuwait will return as it was the people and government and under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and stressed that “we are from Kuwait and Kuwait from us,” and Sheikh Zayed has begun its extensive activity for the withdrawal of Iraqi forces from Kuwait The return of legitimacy at all levels, The UAE welcomed a large number of Kuwaiti citizens, provided them with care and facilities, and provided a training camp for Kuwaiti volunteers to contribute to the liberation of Kuwait.
